Dr. Nitesh Salunkhe is a vitreoretinal specialist with a keen interest in diabetic eye disease, uveitis and retinopathy of prematurity (ROP). After completing his MBBS from MUHS Nasik, he trained in M.D. Ophthalmology at AIIMS, New Delhi.

His clinical practice includes the management of complex diabetic retinopathy and retinal detachment. He has performed more than 3,000 diabetic vitrectomy surgeries, alongside complex retinal detachment surgery, and more than 3,000 cataract (phacoemulsification) procedures.

Alongside clinical practice, Dr. Salunkhe contributes to ophthalmic academia through peer-reviewed publications.
